Celiac disease makes me feel so left out. Do I go to dinner and just drink a coke? Or do I decline and not say why? I’m sorry those local restaurants you love don’t believe me, and poison me for fun. One waiter at Pizza Joint put flour on my Coke glass. Complain? “Why are you even here? It’s pizza”

When everything is so messed up, sometimes the little injustices don’t seem worth your time or worry. This boy was locked up for 7 years, in our name. And because he was acquitted, there are no community supports for this kind of returning citizen.

When everything is so messed up, sometimes the little injustices don’t seem worth your time or worry. This boy was locked up for 7 years, in our name. And because he was acquitted, there are no community supports for this kind of returning citizen.

The phenomenon of “leftist language policing” is 99% a product of centrists whining about it constantly. I almost never encounter it in real life and requests for vocabulary updates are typically non-binding guidelines for formal written documents.
This take is worth what you paid for it, but I think the language policing stuff has outsized political significance.

Just got back from the surgeon—looks like little one will need halo traction followed by rods and maybe something special for his neck. I’m not a fan of progressive infantile scoliosis and kyphosis. We’ve just got to get weight on him first!
