I really like England and my time there.
I do not understand my English husband’s preference for the US. We should start investigating moving there after our cat passes. The cat has a lot of health problems and wouldn’t survive quarantine.
It would be difficult, but worth it.

In Canada, everyone gets healthcare, paid by taxes.
Seniors pay $100 annually for medications, free after that (with a few exceptions). Dental care for low income seniors is covered. Childcare is subsidized by the govt, making it affordable for working parents.
