A truly great idea. 10,000 ethical assets freely available.

There’s no excuse for resorting to so-called AI with this and the *many* other assets you can use without resorting to laundered plagiarism.

Support real artists, not con artists.
More coverage of our 10,000 Game Assets Pack, this time on Dexerto. We really do appreciate all the support everyone is giving this - basically it makes the last year of working on it full time worthwhile & spurs us on to create more assets!! www.dexerto.com/gaming/indie... #gamedev #indiedev

We're working with @dubiousdesign.bsky.social to publish Substructure!

This game takes you to an alien planet with subterranean layers that you must explore & exploit as you set up complex, multi-level production chains.

Got inspired by the Frieren meme challenge and made a tutorial for rotating objects in 3D! This looks at turning a common rotation "mistake" into an intentional choice.

This is something that those of y'all with 3D experience probably understand pretty well!

This. But also, remember that passion alone doesn't pay the bills. Most indies underprice their games, are ignored by algorithms, undersold, some even unfairly blocked from selling... So check that your money actually moves in the direction you want people surviving and making things.

In preservation news no one really cares much about, I've preserved seven Linux Mall releases of various flavors of Linux from 1998. Linux Mall used to distribute full releases on CD-Rom in those days via mail order. This includes FreeBSD, Slackware, and even TurboLinux.

The extra layer to this year’s Moevember - titled “Ani-Moe-tion” - wasn’t as impactful as last years, but it was really fun to do! I’m interested in projects that stretch and challenge my skills, and trying to adapt some into all these styles was a delight.
