Yep, I don’t think we look particularly adept at executing our own plan A if faced with any sort of resistance, and we certainly don’t have the flexibility to shift to a plan B — beyond throw many men forward — so managers that are at anything resembling squad talent parity can outmanoeuvre us

Idk overloads were largely a result of them letting us have the ball and then turning it over to run at us in transition. Last year we had less everything but we scored off a set piece and a counter and sat deep.
I just don’t think he was as much of a difference maker as people are making him out

He always looks this dangerous, and typically not much comes of it. People just let their analysis get really caught up in scoreboards and a dude converting from outside the box for the second time in a 70 attempt career.

To be clear, this isn’t new information. I’m just pointing out that 75% of tonight’s ref team was part of a highly publicised and financially lucrative moonlighting gig for the owners of one of tonight’s teams two years back. That’s a problem.
Did not mean to make it seem like it happened this week

I’m not trying to lmao
Anyway I bet we’ll see a similar trend with Hugo’s numbers. Then people will blame the player and talk about Bundesliga tax when the issue is a manager who doesn’t want his attackers in the box.
At least we have Szobo 😍

(These are both Darwin)
At least when Bobby played, two devastating goal scorers were crashing the box just beyond him, not stuck to the chalk facing away from goal.

He’s largely pinned to the sideline when the ball’s not at his feet which makes it very difficult to also arrive in the box to finish off chances
