Being vulnerable is important:

I originally wanted kids. I used to tell teachers I wanted to be a Mommy when I grew up. My Mom and my Grandmas are my heroes. My nieces are my favorite people. It is such a JOY to watch them learn and grow. And speak. And learn from mimicking the adults they love🪡🧵

Abusers take control by wearing you down. A constant barrage of outrage and betrayal and fear is how they weaken you to seize control. Remember that they. must. weaken you. Weak is not your natural state.

I actually never learned to use Twitter so this is truly uncharted territory for me. It still feels a bit unsafe putting *words* out into the world.
