Does your library/Libby have access?

Yes! (one bible belter to another). When my last library started being open on Sundays, also got pushback, but the numbers spoke for themselves - heavily used. Same w/ Veterans Day, we monitored amount of folks who tried to come in, and was enough for the Board to see the need and vote for opening.

This is a particularly painful (and true) observation: “The current proliferation of AI that we see particularly in the library and education spaces would not be possible at the speed and scale that is happening without the precedent of book bans leading into it."— @maggietokudahall.bsky.social

Oh it's not great, but also changes over time. Not excusing it (same reason I could never ever get into Big Bang Theory), but watching it, then going down rabbit holes of issues they addressed/also altered over time, plus it being a staple I wanted to discuss with my mom, made it worth it for me.

Hopefully you can get full set! Sometimes hard to replace when they go broken or missing. And some libraries have shows in their streaming service and some checkout Rokus with access

I watched it all on Hulu I think. And I know the discs were wildly popular at the library. I hope you can find access

I did that a few years ago with MASH. Shows I was raised on but never saw in order...

Know that exact intersection very well. Mix of industry/chemical/commuters/old neighborhoods/amazon warehouses. My sis house in smoke range. Dad usually works UPS during holidays (and this is reminiscent of 1992 C130/hotel crash my dad was almost in, thankfully wasn't). Sending love home...
