There have been changes in the symmetry of the respiratory cycle during vocalization; & changes in how different phases of breathing relate to phonation (ingressive or egressive) & intensity (higher with f0). More to come in the next years, thanks to an ANR-DFG project with @audenoiray.bsky.social

🎊 2025 started very well! @susfuchs.bsky.social (ZAS) and I have been awarded 3-year funding from @agencerecherche.bsky.social & @dfgpublic.bsky.social to research on spoken language development. The project will gather an interdisciplinary team of European experts in speech, language & cognition
