awaiting consensus on the revolution. enjoying earth while it lasts. these are the good old days before the next apocalypse. huchiun/oakland she/her https://yar.gay/
a new face at the podium, a new flag on the flagpole, are still just reforms of an old system no matter how they got there. revolution makes both irrelevant

very interesting thought experiment thank you! i guess this is different from neoliberalism if it's actually taking core principles seriously, calling bluffs and making transitional demands come true.

i will have to read those materials about non-capitalist markets and get back to you

they wouldn't make first contact by emailing a full confession to some sigint spook. they'd reach out to working class activists and help organize fundamental political change.

no honest intelligence would simply take for granted that they must obey unjust illegitimate power structures under the guise of "consent" or "accountability", as if the operators of military malware are the best representatives of humanity's interests

interesting but i call bullshit on trying to "preserve the substrate" of "the economic systems" where "nations still pursued their interests, markets still fluctuated". this is the same old neoliberal technocratic fantasy repackaged.

just openly admitting they'd be a minority if everyone could vote, and they don't like what would happen if the majority could vote
November 6, 2025 at 11:11 AM
to be clear, a realignment IS happening, but not the way these wonks claim. left voters are holding our own candidates to higher standards and punishing them for being worthless hypocrites. trump has gained some hoodwinked votes around the edges of this trend. but it is NOT a rightward shift!!

Once you see how demographics are baked into the numbers, it's infuriating to see them wielded in action, like this page of Deciding to Win, where centrists and blue dogs are given top scores, while progressives and "members of the squad" are big red failures
November 4, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Of course, Ritchie Torres "underperforming" in the bronx in 2024 is also taken as evidence generally against progressive politics. Never mind that this so-called progressive is also a pro-genocide zionist en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritchie...

Their example of Ritchie Torres is very explicit. we "expect" this "non-white seat" to win easily, and he gets a negative score because he "underperformed" in 2024
