this is all valid you both are valid but i can assure you that there are upper/middle class children of employees at natural resource companies/lockheed that aspire to go to texas tech because my high school had lots of them. or at least that existed fifteen years ago

i remember being at dinner with my cousins in like…summer 2018 i think? maybe summer 2019. and openly expressing disdain for elon was met with mostly surprise and bewilderment. he was doing such “cool” things!!! space! electric cars!

my review of salt lake city’s light rail is unfortunately it doesn’t seem to go anywhere and no one seems to ride it. think it was basically just for commuters and covid killed it

you know what i ate at one for the first time in salt lake city in april and my review is that it was quite salty, even for someone like me with a salty palate. enjoyed the show and ambience though, lots of kids clearly on homecoming or prom dates or something

i’ve only seen a few of the light rail stops but i have seen some very empty trains and one stop in the highway median lol

if you ever hear someone blame expensive real estate on “developers” or “density” again we should set up a gofundme for that person to take a field trip to this endless sea of single family homes that are all forty years old and completely unaffordable to anyone not a director level tech worker
