It's dumb, but I can't get over how the Al Otro Lado v. Mayorkas dissenting opinion used Beavis and Butt-head as an example as to why asylum-seekers at ports of entry have not 'arrived in' the US for the purpose of lodging an asylum claim.

For imm attorneys and their clients who experienced the wild, nauseating ride of 2017-2020, we are not excited to be heading back into this chaos. Removal of birthright citizenship, eliminating TPS, and sunsetting asylum are about as restrictivist/nativist as you can get. (list not my own)

Important research being done here. After Tuesday's results, it's clear we need a better understanding of how to turn the perspective on immigration around.
