I love how much you include sign language in your discussions. I'm learning ASL and the instructor has some horror stories about linguists and sign language. It's nice to be able to give some good examples

My husband has MS. This made my whole day! I was very aware of the fatigue and heat sensitivity he struggles with but had no idea on the why for either. Dr. Boster explained that part so well and it makes the knowledge sit better in my brain. THANK YOU

Remember: when it's really hot out, if at all possible don't just drink water. Alternate water and something with electrolytes. Guy in my ASL class had been hydrating but came in pale and sick. I gave him an electrolyte tab in water and watched his color come back on less than an hour. Stay safe!

There's a different ratio of theobromine to caffeine in coffee vs tea. Theobromine is probably higher in tea and it doesn't spike your energy as much but the effect lasts longer

Holy crap, I did not realize it was that recent! When we were redoing our kitchen the contractor got offended that I insisted on using an asbestos company to abate the crap in the floors (fortunately nowhere else) 🙄

I'm not a fed, but didn't the NWS person in charge of coordinating with the local government in Texas take the early retirement thing (no shade) & the position is still empty? The local & state government response would have been nearly as bad either way, but not having that coordinator didn't help.
