The fact that so many babies and mothers come to harm every year nationally is down to the fact that there are so many decision makers and power centres in birthing units, and yet not enough accountability and responsibility.

Saddened to hear of Satish Shah’s passing. Was think just the other day that he’s been such a likeable actor. Sarabhai is of course terrific, but Satish Shah’s most memorable role was that of a fantastic corpse in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron.
