What this desperately needs is someone to do a podcast about how the left has always had the ability to fall out with itself throughout history.....

Its worth listening to the recent Origin Story podcasts on Labour to get a full appreciation of how the left have been arguing with themselves since year dot....

Why is it being reported like its a new thing to clobber the present government with (that’s a rhetorical question obviously), inheritance tax or its similar predecessors have been around since the 17th century (bloody Rachel Reeves!)

All hypothetical musing, unless a) a large swath of the public actually start thinking for themselves and b) politicians of all colours start being honest about what an economic and social state the country is in, why and what hard choices have to be made, we are buggered anyway!

I suppose one possible glimmer of light is that if Labour continue to try and be some sort of Reform light will they when combined with the Tories and Reform just help to further dilute the far right vote and make it more likely that a more moderate party be it green or yellow or whatever get in?

I think therein is the problem. The whole business with Corbyn illustrated that a) party membership actually means bugger all if you can't get the floating voter to vote for you and thus b) will the floating voter vote for any party that they are being told is 'hard' left my the 99% hostile media.

Hang on, I thought we had to stop all immigration as the country was becoming so overcrowded to becoming standing room only...

Her political 'journey' is beginning to rival that of Liz Truss.. on the bright(ish) side this veer towards far right policy could lead to Labour/Tory/Reform splitting the far right vote...

I hope I'm wrong, but its worth remembering that Labour membership topped 500k under Corbyn and that really didn't translate at the ballot box....

I assume they are taking a lead from their hero across the poind who in his only moment of lucidity noted....

The BBC reporting on the 1 O'Clock news was plain odd, combining making the visit seem like appeasing a 4 year old with a temper tantrum whilst riddled with inane nonsense about clothing and the royals. But if its what Nigel demands I suppose....
