Democrats should be the party of America restoration, focused on sweeping away every last vestige of Trump's seedy third-world tyranny and exacting cold retribution against people who have betrayed our country and its Constitution for their own self-enrichment

You don't need to know me, or walk in my shoes, to be able to hold me accountable for my words and actions.

A person doesn't have to consider themselves a bigot to act like one.

All people are created equal, but the same cannot be said for all views or opinions. Some are just flat out wrong.

And I'm not going to feel one second of shame as those who put evil out into the world have it thrust back at them 10 fold.

I don't have the luxury or privilege to live otherwise.

Well then I envy you for your limitless wellspring of empathy.

I consider all people to be people. I'm one person, and I don't have a limitless wellspring of empathy.

So I'm going to save it for people who also consider me a full human being.

Again, I don't see that as a negative.
Because I'm sorry, I don't care where you sit on the political spectrum, I don't care how much we agree, I don't care who you are, or if we are related?:

You should have to face judgment and atone for what you've done.

Just and not merely because they've, as you dismissively put it, "been bad."

But you're right, I am very proud of having boundaries.

If that's working for you, great.

I, however, I'm a queer woman of reproductive age. And when I cut people from my life, it's because they don't see me as an equal human being.

And that is nowhere near the same thing as condemning them to death.

It's been a long time since I've been a god-botherer, but isn't that story about capital punishment?

Are you really equating not inviting a racist cousin-in-law to thanksgiving with a death sentence?
