I can't believe that one of our boxing legends has passed. So young as well. I loved watching him box. An unrelenting boxer who showed courage, explosive, gifted and heroic performances in the ring. A truly sad day for sport.

Not often I get the chance to get a bus around the airport to the aircraft. But thanks to a 1 hour+ delay, change of gate and aircraft that's what we did.

My son caught this the other night when a large storm passed us in Istanbul. I on the other hand, was the only one of my family to sleep through it all!

So I met this chap outside a shop. He is apparently well known there as everyone in the area looks after him. The shop keeper was laughing when I asked about him! He was in such good condition. The cat, not the shopkeeper. #caturday #photography

Outside the old Besitas Ferry Pier in Istanbul there is a bookshop that sells these wonderful cat themed trays. I haven't decided which one yet but will definitely be going back to get one or more! #cats #caturday #photography #art

Had a fantastic dinner last night at Alioğlu Restaurant.
I thought I would try Chicken Shish as I haven't had it for a long time. It was fantastic. Chicken cooked to perfection.

Saddened to hear the death of Cleo Laine.
My late Dad toured with her and John around the world quite alot. Along with John, She was a big part of my late Dad's music history. Even made a visit to see my Dad unannounced in hospital one time.
She was a Jazz Legend. Such a lovely lady. 🙏🏼🕯️❤️

Tonight's dinner was Lahmacun. For those that are not familiar, it's a thin, round flatbread topped with a mixture of Minced meat (usually lamb or beef) Finely chopped vegetables like onions, tomatoes, and peppers,
