This is absolutely not parenting goals. She should never have had to do this.

I will say, leading Dems SHOULD be out there and getting themselves on the news in these situations. In normal times I’m not for exploiting a tragedy for political gain, but in these times it’s one of the only ways we have to break through the chaos machine outside of social media silos.

Got that after re-reading and seeing Chesapeake Bay and not Potomac. Sherrilyn is a reliable source, but this was a bit misleading due to the speed of social media scrolling. I always search for corroborating sources and wasn’t finding any. Should have reread more carefully before posting.

Why is this not being covered by news agencies? A quick google search of the news for this brings up nothing. Is it on cable news? This is the kind of attention that we need to bring to Democrats every single time Trump leaves it open like this. But mainstream news coverage needs to happen.

This is a shitty take. She holds zero political power at the moment. There are others in the Dem Party that should be taking the lead on this, but they’re continuing to empower geriatric members of the party who have zero understanding of the reality we’re living in. Harris should be resting.
