I spent the entirety of today and yesterday trying to figure out how relays work and just now I finally got my prototype to register as accepted :deadaf:
Now I can start trying to figure out how to actually relay the requests

I probably won't use it that much, but I feel like both the #fediverse and #bluesky are great and I feel like having a foot in the door of #bsky (apart from bridgyfed) is valuable.
Also, since I like self-hosting, why not self-host a PDS :)

Good news! Seems like if you use Findroid, if you turn on mpv player in the settings it doesn't transcode on the server!
The spike in the graph is when I started playback on my phone. As you can see, CPU util doesn't rise and ffmpeg isn't running. Neat :)

Pretty good, actually. Even with Sharkey and an MC server running on it, works well. I haven't tested with 4K obv, but for 1080p content should be enjoyable.

Every time I look at my #googlepixel 8 I think how pretty it truly is. Shame I got the Hazel (middle) colour instead of the Rose, but the offer was too good to pass up.

Banger, I accidentally messed up the Sharkey instance overnight. It didn't process items in the queue. Now that I restarted it, it's slowly working through the queue and watching the global and social feeds update every second with like 30 posts is a bit overwhelming

Kinda funny how Apple is so proud of how their new Ultra watch can connect to power meters and has offline maps.
Garmin has had it for like... forever. Along with the best battery in the industry.
