Did you know that I wrote some books for teachers and you should read them? I wrote them as a call to take action and transform schools with mental health and wellbeing in mind. I'd love if you checked them out.

Audrey Watters is one of the most important thinkers of our time and everything she writes will make you wiser and more human. Please make time for this piece on AI and grief. It's stunning.

Hey so “underage girls” are…children. The word you’re looking for is children. They’re not like, women-in-waiting or women-lite or whatever. They’re children. I think some of you are very uncomfortable with what that means for you but it is still true.

Professors & school leaders, I hope this moment serves as a reminder that "bring in a doctor's note" is a shitty policy and becomes shittier the less that your students have access to healthcare.

I'm too rage filled to say anything articulate about health insurance today.

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

OVER A MILLION USERS

DISCUSS SUICIDE WITH CHATGPT

EVERY *WEEK*

what the fuck are we DOING here
Panera’s moderately caffeinated lemonade was loosely associated with 2 deaths before it was taken off market.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.
I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.
