Beautiful night tonight (of course it is clear on Sunday night) and I tried out my iPhone 16 pro from my drive way. Wow! Single 30 sec exposure on a tripod. I’m sure the phone is doing some AI processing. I did save the file in Raw format. #iphonemilkyway #astrophotography

Decided to image M106 while learning how to use my Meade 8" SCT. The 2000mm focal length makes focus and guiding much more challenging. It will take time to master but the final image shows the potential of the scope. 160, 1-min exposures in LRGB + 40 2-min in Ha. #astrophotography
