As a parent I hate doing arts and crafts with toddlers outside of coloring. It’s too overstimulating for me!!!

The thing about Church Girl is that you ✨had✨ to grow up a southern girl raised in a southern church to understand it. You had to grow up with prayer cloths and wooden pews and hymn books to truly understand what was being communicated. If you didn’t, you won’t ever fully appreciate the song. Ever.

I’m learning how to really not fret over things I don’t have all the details to. If I know I’ll have all the information at a later date I just put that situation in a mental file in the back of mind and move on until I need to address it again. Faith over fear 🙏🏾

One thing TikTok is going to do is have me revisit music I used to listen to. I’ve been playing Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience album all morning. Whole album was a 10/10 but MIRRORS went triple platinum for me!!

Getting braids & silk presses back to back made me forget how to properly to do my natural hair. Couldn’t figure out why my twist outs were coming out so trash until I watched a TikTok video 🫠. I wasn’t combing the product through before doing the twists 🤦🏾♀️.
