Had an absolute blast playing PEAK with some friends tonight, though the highlight was probably when we ended up just goofing off in the lobby for an hour and stacked every chess piece on the basketball hoop (and topped it off with BingBong) 😂

So the big things from first semester o chem that I remember are: dipoles/polarity, learning simplified notation, learning nomenclature and functional groups, and chirality (basically whether groups can rotate around a bond). Lots of chemical models for that last one to help visualize!

I don't think I have my own notes unfortunately, but I can look up some references for you that seem accurate to what I remember. Basically lots of dots around atomic symbols and then arrows showing electrons moving, or circling them when they're shared. Discussions about charge and polarity.

From what I remember from school, our first year of college chem was a lot of balancing chemical reactions, molecular models, and stoicheometric conversions. Granted this was 20-odd years ago so I don't remember well. But I'll drop a few images. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

I was doing some doodling a couple days ago and she turned into my Rook, Lilya, from Veilguard. Don't let her outfit confuse you, she's a Veiljumper. She just likes wearing shoes.

Wish I could make the character creator behave to capture her in-game, though. 😂

Hello! I'm Asteyni and I'm primarily a digital artist. I am such a big fan of color, so it was both hard to pick a most colorful artwork. I decided to share a recent MSPaint painting on the left, and chose one of my favorite "inks" from 2019 on the right.

Tbh when I do art I kinda lock in, so I'm bad at multitasking. Like "Oh I should have eaten dinner six hours ago but it's almost bedtime" bad at multitasking.

Music entirely depends on vibes. I either choose the music based on the art or let the art be influenced by the music.

Still working on the making art friends thing... but art fight was so fun! I was super surprised by how much everyone liked my tiefling OC Ecstasy. Favorite defenses were definitely all of the Ecstacy outfit designs 👀

I wanted to do at least 20 attacks and ideally 31. I managed 25 💪

A third successful art fight has come to a close. I'm really so glad that I went back to it; it was honestly a lot of fun, and I'm pleased with a lot of the art I made!
