Burnside Street Portrait. 1969. Portland Oregon. I shot one roll, 33 photos on Burnside Street. Everyone called it "skid row". It was filled with bars, liquor stores, missions and cheap hotels. This man asked to have his photo taken.

Hedonistic Pleasures. My 2nd post. 1969. The Star Theater on Burnside Street in Portland Oregon. It started as a silent movie house and later became a bit racier. It was featured in the Oregon Journal in 1953 in an article called "Battle of the G-Strings". It still exists today. Google it.
