I have auditioned for an Actual Play actually, but it was an in-studio paid gig and those are the elements they were looking at as well as table chemistry. I ultimately did very poorly due to outside circumstances, but it was very formal. So, I’d hope that’s what they are looking for.

Play in games, let alone audition to possibly be accepted for a game. Mind you I am constantly in unpaid work and I enjoy it so I’m not saying I need to be paid either. I just value my time and effort enough to know that a benefit besides getting to play has to exist for me to do something like that

I feel this for sure. I’m all for finding the right table which at times feels audition like, but unless it is paid or it’s something that benefits a resume. I can’t picture myself auditioning for an AP. I love the art form and I want it to flourish, but I’m already struggling to make time to
