We do not have to choose between retaining and growing jobs in the film and television industries and increasing the diversity of its workforce.

The commitment to higher education & the grace that was offered to our public colleges and universities in the form of a zero interest loan in the 2025-26 state budget has not been shared by this body when it comes to our public TK-12 schools.

The constitutional question before us is this: Can a state under the 10th Amendment step in to protect its residents from harm when the federal government fails to do so?

I would argue yes.
