#WIPWednesday

A Perennial scarf by Lisa Ross in minis purchased at Flock Fiber Fest this past year- from @reddoorfs.bsky.social and Sewrella yarn.

Fun fact, the minis from RDF were my very first purchase of that fantastic day. I am already feeling FOMO from not being able to go this year.

Happy #thingsonmyneedlethursday friends!

A new project on my needles, the Moonflower tee by Ksenia Naidyon/Life is Cozy.

Making this in a 60/40 merino/silk blend from Two Springs Fiber Arts in 'pistachio'.

I forgot to share this image of my new stitch markers from @soft-spoken.bsky.social !

They're absolutely adorable, and I cannot wait to put them to good use.

I made these squares out of a Scheepjes Stone Washed XL mini pack almost three years ago when I was learning Tunisian crochet.

They've sat in a closet for three years, and I finally joined them together to create a bright and colorful lap blanket.

Happy #thingsonmyneedlesthursday !

Working on a sweet and bright Clover Pouch by @s-knits.bsky.social using my January yarn club from Fuzzy Peach Fibers.

One of my thoughts behind this project was to start with a pouch so I can use it for all the other months yarn.

And a post about what I'm reading!

The Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, currently on book 4, Captain's Fury.

This series is the kind of fantasy I crave. It's ridiculous in premise (Romans with Pokemon!), has lots of good-guy plot armor, and is deep enough to let me forget the world.

For every productive weekend of knitting, there are equal, low progress weekends.

Working on my modified mini Cablette by Justyna Lorkowska.

This picture was taken before I went back and frogged it so I didn't have to play yarn chicken.

More Stella Quilt progress!

As I finish the third motif, I finally get to remove minis from my bag which feels so good.

I also have plans to cast on a Sweet Shop blanket with The Fibre Fox's Colour Club arriving soon... I don't want to have two blanket WIPs at the same time!

Snowstorm Saturday!

A project that I've knit for about 6 months now- Stella Quilt blanket by Laura Penrose.

I'm using Sewrella's classic DK in the Garden Collection minis and the background is her summer tonal "Sea Oats".

Don't worry about those ends... I'm 100% adding a fabric backing 😉

Yarn mail!

From @newburghyarnco.com, a new NSW base, BFL and Marsham wool. BFL is one of my favorite fibers to knit with. I love the texture of it and how it wears.

I'm very excited to work with this- maybe excited enough to abandon a WIP or two..... 😁

#slowknittingsunday

This week has been quite challenging for me. Spending today in quiet and warmth.

May anyone else who had a hard week find time to refresh and renew themselves for the week ahead 💚

Second is Sable and Stone Co-

I adore their gemstone stitch markers. I've been purchasing from them for several years, and I gift them to myself on every occasion.

Something about the weight, shine, and feel of them just makes my knitting feel luxurious.

#whatiknitwithwednesday

I thought it'd be fun to share the tools I use each week. This week- Stitch Markers!

Hello Lavender Designs- I love their clay stitch markers as well as their jewelry. The amount of details are exceptional.

Fennel Seed Jacket is very close to being done! The second button band and collar is all that's left.

I cannot overstate how pleased I am with how this project has turned out

I've seen a few Snuggle is real owls on my page recently so I thought I'd share mine. I knit this in November and it has become my most worn knit item by a mile.

I used Explorer Knit Fibers Rocky DK in Balsamico and Sewrella Classic DK in Tortured Makers Dept.

Missed #wipwednesday but perhaps I can start #thingsonmyneedlesthursday.

I picked up this project from this fall between Sunday and Wednesday to finish the sleeves and collar. I find doing so causes me to have renewed love in a project that's stagnated.

Fennel Jacket on my needles this weekend.

Only ribbing left on the body, and then the button band and collar.

This has been flying off my needles!

Yarn mail coming in from FuzzyPeachFibers this Friday!

One of my January knitting goal is to finish the second sock in this set. First sock was knit at the end of December.

Sock was a test knit for North Woods Knit Co's Homestead Socks Lite, in the Sourdough Pattern using Fuzzy Peach Fiber's Cozy Morning sock club set in "Homebody"

I find the weight of a 'first post' to be rather daunting. I have settled on a cozy look inside my knitting bag I take to work everyday.

I rarely get a chance to knit at work, but its always nice to have the option.

WIP inside is the Fennel Seed Jacket by Florence Miller.
