I live in Asheville. It is NOT unwarranted. He came to the area twice to meet with people *coughcough* photo-ops and lied to people who went through unimaginable horrors right to their faces. The cruelty... it's the point. 😓

From what I understand he requested this method over fears of the electric chair. It is often considered more humane than the alternatives which have a history of horrifying fuck-ups. People who believe in the death penalty selfishly want a violent act to not seem so violent on the surface.

I have a Sam's Club 1 mile from my doorstep. The closest Costco is 1 hour and 20 minutes away. Costco's values are literally why I make the drive to Costco.
