Shameful. Praying for these families and a health system that doesn’t bankrupt sick people
Last year, 320,000 Canadians filed bankruptcy due to their medical bills.
Oopsie, I meant Americans. The Canadian number is slightly lower: zero.

If the state of Delaware prohibited companies incorporated there from spending on elections in any way, Citizens United would be dead in the water.

Delaware incorporates more companies than any other state.

It’s a blue state. Let’s get cracking on moving Delaware lawmakers on this!

Can states require labels and big warnings?
The EPA just approved new "forever chemical" pesticides for use on food like lettuce, broccoli, and potatoes.

They're creating new pathways for long lasting & potentially harmful PFAS to get into our food & environment.

THIS is how they're going to Make America Healthy Again?

"The agency also announced plans to relax a rule requiring companies to report all products containing PFAS and has proposed weakening drinking water standards for the chemicals."
The EPA is starting to allow the use of pesticides containing PFAS on food. The move is part of an effort to roll back the regulation of PFAS — also known as "forever chemicals" because they don't break down easily in the environment.

I wonder if people in my state would be interested in a voter initiative?

They collectively spent over $1B in 2024, amounting to 1 in every 13 dollars spent during the election.
