I love characters plainly cursing to themself when something goes bad; it just rings true. Some of my fav barks in all of videogames are when Sol Badguy gets hit and is like “shit” or “damnit” or “son of a…” it’s both believable in-character and reflective of what I’m often saying as the player lol

I like it but can confess I have definitely experienced the feelings Tetris Effect was meant to evoke slightly harder from Zakesta than I ever actually have from Tetris Effect, which is partly just my tastes but also begs some questions about the efficacy of all that extra Production Value
