I would be a bit concerned about this. There has become a lot of implicit pressure to location-share with "all your close friends" (read: anyone you might be on a sports team with, or in a club with, or friends-of-friends you might get a ride from, or someone you might kinda have a crush on...)

I know that the app actually does a pretty good job with answering these questions on an item-by-item basis, but I imagine that Kirk could show us what the distinctions are, so that we could figure most items out on our own from there.

Now, Burnside clearly does generate costs, too - water service, firefighting coverage, etc. Do those show up here at all? (I'm figuring "no", and that makes sense, but just to confirm.)

Am I reading that correctly to say that, with just residential revenues included, only 6, 7, 8 & 16 cover their residential costs?

(I know that's a problematic way to look at things - commercial revenues exist partly to cover residential costs, but just want to make sure I'm reading correctly.)

That's totally true, but the logic for bike lanes doesn't work quite as well, because they're only wide enough for 1-2 bike(s). A crew of runners takes all that space and more. It's like having a gang of runners taking up more than one full lane of car traffic, running towards traffic.

In Bella Coola, there are two more dense population centres (of a couple hundred people each) at one end of the Valley, separated by about 4 km. Lots of people walk back and forth between the two. The Nuxalk Nation and BC Transit are now running a constantly-looping bus so no one needs to walk.

Also, 75% (guesstimate) of the population in that purple bit live in Mulgrave Park. Those are the household sizes that matter for the purposes of this graphic. The Hydrostone is not irrelevant, but it's not driving the bus on that section.
