I have a masters in public health; I know the system. If I can't navigate it, the vast majority of people can't. Covid vax for kids was already too low and should have been higher under the Biden admin. Now under Trump, it will be virtually 0, especially for babies under 18 months for their 1st shot

Thanks to HHS, Trump and RFK Jr., babies are the 2nd highest cohort vulnerable to covid hospitalizations and death. They do not deserve this when we have safe and effective vaccines, but HHS has succeeded on their goal of preventing access.

I take it back, the clinic in NJ took me in, had me wait 45 minutes with a screaming baby and only then TOLD ME THEY DON'T HAVE THE COVID SHOT I MADE THE APPT FOR. Healthcare in this country is fucked. Thanks for exposing my unvaccinated infant to a guy coughing up a storm @govmurphy.bsky.social
