However, after years of cross party support, unnecessary delays by Labour as they thought about cancelling the whole thing (and then changed their mind) has driven costs even higher.
Labour dithering means North Somerset tax payers will have to find another £3m.
Following intense work by the West of England Mayor and combined authority, North Somerset Council, Network Rail and the Department for Transport, we’ve come up with a plan for a fully funded program of work to get started this summer!

I was hopeful when Kier Starmer became PM. I’ve realised he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
No philosophy of government, no true north, no belief beyond his own ambition.
