No worries, and you can increase your chance of success by picking the right hero(s) for the job! But as a game it does reward failure too. You might just have a sadder story beat, but it won't halt your progress or anything like that

Pretty easy! I'd suggest disabling the qte's and there's a setting on the hacking minigame to disable the timer. The actual "dispatching" is just a dice roll and chance for sucess or failure.
