I do what I want.

[ETA: Since we're in the new days of a new place perhaps I should be less laconic. I have been arysteia on a million platforms for at least 22 years now. If you've ever known me anywhere else, yes it's me.]
My favourite. That and Curse of Fenric.

So did I as a kid. Potato layer* first, then meat, then pastry.

*potato top mince was my childhood fave

What gorgeous blooms!

It's in the basement! The "skylight" is in the floor of the lounge.

There are no windows because it was originally the Victorian era coal chute.

1929, and yes, locks on all doors. All keys lost but one.

A Levels (I think it's short for Advanced) are the highest school exams in the UK. So a final year student.

Every time I see peonies I think of you. 💕

Hated just right. Even as a 7 year old I thought it was stupid. I remember being so disappointed in the theatre with my parents. So much slapstick, next to no Lois, second-rate villains. As an adult I appreciate Christopher Reeve's performance more (always 2 parts, now 3) but the rest's still awful.

Casey! I have a *thousand* tabs open, no word of a lie.

Tony Stark cared about people.

New Zealand ones seem positively decorous by comparison!

A New York seagull stole an entire hotdog out of my hand at the Statue of Liberty. 🗽

Yes, of course, that makes more "sense". 🫡

KITT came out to New Zealand for the Christmas parade one year when I was a kid... stole the show from Santa. Peak 80s experience.

Michael Long was a cop, Garth Knight was the wicked wastrel son of a philanthropist. Michael was the son he *wished* he'd had. (Don't ask why I remember this.)

Not to be too earnest, but Devon, who was Garth's father, organised the facial reconstruction and rehabilitation, and modelled his new face on his son's.

I don't know where OP is based (or you for that matter) but in Commonwealth countries to scoff means to eat enthusiastically.

It was great to meet you, and I'm so glad Wellington turned on a good day for you.

Watched it live.

Clare, I see that onion! My perfectly empty car defies you. (It needs a good vacuum, already did, but I made it worse by calling past my aunt's on the way home and accidentally acquiring two different fuchsias and another hydrangea.)
