Sure, but complaining about this proposal is not helping. It just makes it easier for the UK government to keep rejecting it.

If you want something better than this, then you have to tell the UK government. They are blocking it, not the EU.

It is not a trap. It would be a genuine step in the right direction. Of course it is very limited, but the reason it is not that the EU would not want full FoM - it does - but that even this very limited proposal is too much for the UK.
