Is it weird that I want to teach a media literacy class using My Hero Academia?
It's a good example of how fully understanding a piece of media is aided by knowing the works it's in conversation with, along with demonstrating how culture and politics shape that conversation.

I'm starting to get nervous about an upcoming medical procedure. If it goes well it could fix a lot of the pain I've been in but if something is missed it could make it worse.

The whole tariff thing with the US is such a headache as a solo creator because, even if I think I've got an estimate on what the cost will be, either a) a new tariff will be announced or b) the courier will just end up charging an amount that's somehow more than the item being shipped.
