A simple pencil drawing of Bulbasaur looking up towards the viewer with vines outstretched. This was my first proper drawing since dropping art at school in 2007 which had put me off ‘for life’ but I finally decided to try again! He’s a lil wonky and the shading is rough but it’s clear what it is. A full colour digital painting of bulbasaur in a similar pose as the first picture, created a year later. The shading is much smoother and proportions are correct. His vines are holding a heart shaped frame around him creating the illusion that they are coming out of the picture.
