I'm eating an ENORMOUS bowl of vegan chili for lunch. Recipe in the ALT text.
An enormous bowl of vegan chili. Boca crumbles, petite diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, black beans, vegetable broth, diced onions. diced garlic, cumin, cayenne, chili powder, chili flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper. I will probably eat half of this for lunch and half for dinner. I don't measure any of those spices, I've been doing this for so long, but if you need measurements... start with half teaspoons of everything but the salt and chili flakes. Do a quarter teaspoon of those. The tomatoes - a large can. Paste, a small can. Beans - a can or two of each, depends on how much you like. I sometimes add a can of northern beans. One or two bags of Boca crumbles, to taste. I use one. One onion, half a small bulb of garlic. But it's all to taste, so go slowly.
