I conceptualized Kyora alongside Hakuri because I wanted them to share a similar vibe. After all, they're father and son.

I think the hardest part about Sojo's design was coming up with a strong motif for him. Initially I went for an ouji-inspired outfit, but ruffles and bows don't feel Sojo at all. Honestly, I don't know what his outfit communicates in the end.

In every depiction, he's shown with Japanese clothing, so I decided to stick in that realm for Kensei. During the sword bearers showdown, he was shown wearing a black haori, so naturally I wanted to include that.
