Lila is a Medusa. It's a species based mostly on jellyfishes, but they also share inspiration from the Greek Mythology character Medusa. As she has living snakes as hair, Medusaes have movable hair they can control by how they want. Most use it as weapons. Medusaes are also venomous, if they don't have intentions of attacking, humans can't touch their body, or they end being petrified for a while. However, they can make medicine from their venom. Lila uses mainly her venom for that. As a queen, her role is much more protecting her people and making sure laws are being followed. Laws are made by leaders with (or without, depending on groups) the vote of each member. She met Apollo when he was lost on the sea, in a small boat. She helped him to get back on beach and later came spending time with him on lands, unless they have to leave the town for probably forever. When Apollo was banned, she couldn't do anything, as everyone wanted him gone. In a case if she defended her husband, then nobody would trust her anymore for safety. Apollo was born as an orphan, lived among other kids in his childhood. This is where he met Mihka and Carmen, being some friends. While he was still here, while some kids found parents, like the two cited. However, he still saw them in school, but his relationship with Carmen became worse, like enemies. As to make sure he has a home, Ignacio took him when he was 17. He joined the Aquamarine for a short, as this could help him to get some money, following also interest on it. Few years later he has his own studio, then met Lila, spent time together and both starting having feelings to each other. Later, when high grades realizing how Lila was precious for research, they did pressure on Apollo, but they also threatened to use Ignacio if Apollo didn't execute to bring her to them. As to save 2 persons, he faked his death and lived with Lila among other sea creatures, then get their kid. When the tragic incident happened, John, with the help of his group, banned him, despite Lila couldn't do anything. He lives in the deep sea now, but no one, even his wife, knows about it, despite her searching him when she could. - Jaune is Lila's best friend, along with Patty ! She is based on a golden fish, while Aaron being an orca. - She helps Lila feeling better when she misses her husband, also comforting her when she tries to be a better mother for Skid. - She's kinda in tension with John due to that. Jaune is one of rare persons who doesn't enjoy the human killing law he made. - Patty works polyvalent in medicine stuff, along with Mort, and sometimes, Lila, as Patty uses her venom for healing wounds and fighting types of illness. She is also good at surgery, as she was a good help for John. Both are still friends, despite the chef not being the happy guys he was before. - She also guards a cavern of magic stones, which these can make the ability of changing appearance. These are the origins of gems that as examples, Apollo or Radford hold on themselves to have a different appearance. Additional stuff about these version of Apollo! Basically, that's him when he lived in the deep sea. He also met Eyes there, which in this version they call themselves as the "Eyes of the seas". While their met was offensive, as Eyes saw him as a prey, they suddenly stopped attacking him after he chopped a part of his leg and chew it. Apollo found then a small cavern to hide and time passing, despite his leg recovering slowly, hunger was pain. As Eyes being also able to recover his limbs, they sent one of these to the Medusa, as to feed him, being later one of his main source of food, which will make some changes to his body. As he spent 6 years in deep sea, Eyes (sort of) raised him, as he is much stronger than he was in the surface. Apollo also acts feral sometimes, as any other living creature, outside Eyes, were preys. When Radford and Robert took him in the lands, Apollo's original appearance looked least human than he was. He was also stressed to met anyone he knows, due to his faked death. He knows nothing at how humans he knows are doing today.

They're Kevin's co-workers!! Luciano being new at his job, sometimes he appears to be clumsy but by time passing, actually enjoy his job, and is glad to have friends around. As Skid and Pump being around commonly, he also knows their sea species when they saw them being wet by accident, and hid them as they couldn't be seen by other people. Rick is Kevin's close friend, they know each other since school. It's actually the 3rd time he's working in the toy store, as he switched jobs several times. Maybe he will stay longer, time will tell! Some security guards, as being also Jack's job! The three knows each other so they're good friends. It's also these twos who discovered a fainted John in a crowded marketplace, before Jack took care of him. Miles is usually working in the mall, which can include him being around the toy store and recognize some kids spending time here, like Lucky, being Mihka's youngest brother. Mihka on his side is more polyvalent, but works lately more as a babysitter, as Carmen hired him for Roy. Small note: these two are also childhood friends, along with Apollo. Carmen knows she can trust him, she enjoys knowing that Roy feels better when he's around, so her son could feel less alone when her and Richard are busy. - Carmen, along with her husband Richard, works mainly on a museum from the town, made by a mysterious organization named Aquamarine Corporation. This being the same for Ignacio and Bob, but it's mostly a second job for them. She does some research about sea creatures, as she knows their existence due to secrets information she can access, based on her grade. She is fascinated by them and wishes to see one of them. Likewise, she does feel guilt for not having much free time for her son lately, as she wishes she can bring him on her work stuff, but this being unfortunately forbidden. -Ignacio, as like the canon, is very much seeing grumpy, but more calm here. He's most of the time exhausted, though he doesn't hate his florist job. After 9 years from Apollo (faked) death, he's still in grief and few people he stills spend time with, Carmen usually. He knew Apollo since Ignacio was a teen and the other guy was a baby, as some relatives worked in an orphanage in the past, so, by time passing, he also worked there and saw Apollo grew up, then when he was 17, Ignacio hired him as a florist so he could have an home. He considers him as a brother. - Bob works in the town as a fishmonger. He lived in the sea for years and knows some people like John and Lila when they were young. He has an higher grade than Carmen in the Aquamarine Corporation, everyone having the same grade or higher know his actual mermaid identity. Furthermore, he could recognize John when he saw him around in the town and tried to catch him, as to bring him in captivity in the organization. Note: He's still a cannibal there, but that means for sea creatures !

Radford and John are based of flying fishes, but also from Angels!! They're kinda adventurous by nature (at least it was for John) John is the leader of his own group, include all being from sea but mainly being mermaids. Since a tragic incident, he and Radford's relationship are going not well, as Rad being rebellous toward his uncle and his laws. Radford flies away, as to discoverinh human life, John going also to lands as to find his nephew and bringing him back to the sea. Kevin and Rad enjoy spending time together, as this helps him to make his life easier and enjoyable. He likes seeing his new friend discovering the human world and learning new stuff about. He knows the existence of mermaid since he met Rad in his mermaid form, after this one saved him. John and Jack has a complicated relationship, as they know each other since childhood, but were separated years later, as Jack moved on. Due to tensions he has with humans, John acts very much reseved toward him, despite Jack hoping they could be friends again and doing the best to help him finding his nephew but also to understand his changes, from the happy teen fish he knew.

- Skid's gender is unlabeled here, they goes by any pronoun (I go mostly by they/them when I write stuff about this character, but when character talk with (or about) them, it can go by he, he, xe, etc) - Skid is a nickname gave by their parents, as to let them choosing a real name. However, they actually like their nickname - They form a duo with Pump being their best friend, sometimes being a trio by including Lucky - They got their human form when they're not wet - Pump's species are based on the sea monsters from Luca! As like the movie, he changes to human if his body is not wet, like Skid - His family doesn't live in the sea, but among humans, with their identity hidden. His sea form appears mostly when he and Skid spend time in the sea or on the beach - Lucky enjoy spending time with Pump, and sometimes Skid when they're around. He goes by he/she pronouns. - Despite her name, Lucky is clumsy, seeing mostly with bandages. It's also a common thing in his family haha. She like wearing one of his brothers' cap! Most of the time, Roy's parents are busy, so he spend time on his home after school. He doesn't have friends except maybe Susie, but they don't talk much to each other. When Mihka (Shotgun man) started to babysit him, his life is going a little better, as they both enjoying playing videos games. Susie see barely her parents, being in travel far from home, living with her grandpa and her little brother. She spend time with friends but acts sometimes reserved, as trying to keep her real identity. Robert and Ross are best friends, they never met Roy in this universe, by living in different world. Robert is an flying fish, with Angel inspiration. Ross is an orca mermaid. Robert is very adventurous but never go alone when he's looking for places. He's mostly seen with his friend or with his big brother, Radford.

Part 2 with their relationships !! ♥
Global relationship of Maelys with canon characters + some OCs! Most to note: She's in general friendly with everyone, unless the person bring negativity and/or makes her discomfort. Examples her with Dexter, which she doesn't enjoy his presence due to be an exterminator. Similar feeling with Bob by his love of meat, then later will just dislike him after she learnt he tried to kill Luciano. She will share, by time passing, romantic feelings with Shotgun Man and both will hang out together. As Rósa being her sister, she has a very good relationship and are complementary to each other (in a platonic way). She's also Luciano's best friend ! Global relationship of Maelys with canon characters + some OCs! Most to note: Compared to her sister, she's in general neutral when she met people, then it grow by time, good or bad. However, she doesn't see cops as good persons, so first impression of every of them in the town is kinda bad, unless they learn about them and develop some friendship, at least to 3 of them, including John, Jack and Captain. She also develop a strong interest to John, Jack and also Patty (in a platonic way). For Shotgun Man, it's complicated at first, as she can read his soul and feeling he hide dark secrets. But time passing, she will realizes he tries his best for good, so she will be okay seeing him around her sister. Other to note, she has a very complicated relationship with Skid's dad, especially feeling guilty as accidentally revived and hiding him to everyone. Time passing, she was very much annoyed by his presence, especially due to not have chose to keep him in her home, but sometimes, she does feel him interesting, maybe could almost enjoy him sometimes.
