Put the 10 inch Newtonian on the motorised EQ mount, probably right at the weight limit but it works!

Got the fennec drawn alongside a bunch of other furs at the Bookmark Cafe after FURUM!

Absolutely! Here's my fennec-taur

Some creatures at the Singapore Zoo, first time actually going through all of it!

The spin stabilised Bilya-1 spacecraft on it's way to Mercury and then Venus in KSP RSS RP-1. The antenna remains despun to maintain communications with Earth throughout it's voyage

Now that I can upload videos may as well share this engineering camera footage of the solid motors separating from one of my newer rockets in my KSP RP-1 playthrough.

Putting the 10" Dob telescope with tube rings on the EQ Mount worked surprisingly well considering its weight and size. But good lucking seeing out of the viewfinder or eyepiece

Had a big launch failure in KSP RSS! The first solid stage worked flawlessly before an anomaly occurred in the second and third stages staging. Crew survived the flight but this will definitely be one of the last Gemini missions, soon to be replaced by a new generation of manned spacecraft in 1968.

Taking the Metroliner up for some flights in X-Plane, such a beautiful little plane even if it can be difficult to handle at times. Very old school cockpit too, not a touch screen in sight, just people living in the moment

Been having a lot of fun designing some satellites in KSP and getting them working properly! This is the new Arramall-Space 340 (AS-340), it has an extendable solar array that folds out once it's in orbit, and although it is spin stabilised the antenna farm is despun to keep it pointing at the Earth

Some more KSP posting, a brand new launch vehicle rolls out to the pad! This is a new design I came up with, has a manned and unmanned variant with the goal of trying to keep it as cheap as possible. Still yet to conduct it's first full flight though!

Also bonus picture of another Titan III launch!

Couple of quick test images I did of the Orion Nebula with my laptop and DSLR hooked up to my telescope.

Light pollution and a bit of drift did kinda kill it but it worked at least which I'm happy about.

Another day, some more KSP rockets! These ones are from my "Malgar" series, which are somewhat similar to the old Ariane 1-4.

They are very versatile and reliable, the first stage having remained essentially the same throughout while the upper stages can and have been tweaked to suit the mission.

Just a couple kerbal screenshots showing me definitely not launching a spy satellite.

Done in KSP RSS with RP-1, I've since refined the rocket design a bit more but quite happy with it for 1967 in game

Foggy morning in the satellite field

Some screenshots of rockets I've made in my current Kerbal Space Program RSS RO/RP-1 playthrough with the Principia mod. I'm finally getting the stage where I can launch decent sized payloads and not have stuff blow up or fail immediately

Various mission patches and printouts of tracked satellites now up on the pin board!

Hmm yes today I shall learn how to fly the Rotate MD-11

Anyone else a space/telescope nerd as well? Show me your telescopes or space stuff!

In order these are; My workplace's 10" 1967 Celestron set up on its pier, my 8" Schmidt-Newtonian with its Goto mount and then there's my 10" Dobsonian!
