Power can be compared amongst different riders and conditions. Energy is different for everyone. But also, I'm not an expert on cycling performance metrics. I just think power would be a better metric because accurate power meters exist, whereas calorie estimates are just rough estimates.

Calories are a measure of energy, and energy is the product of power and time. That means a high number of calories can be burned with a long ride even if the rider's power output was low (like a long ebike ride) or a short ride if the power output was high.

It looks like there's plenty of space, and they don't come close to causing harm to anyone. Let people have fun.

I think power output would be a better metric than calories burned. Also, you should consider the weight of the bike and the rider. Your ebike's total weight is 290lbs, and your regular bike's total weight is 250lbs, so I don't think weight is the big difference maker in this comparison.

Another important year in consideration of this trend is 2011, which is when car manufacturers needed to meet fuel efficiency standards in proportion to vehicle footprint, which incentivized them to market and build larger vehicles.

Shame obviously doesn't work, and it never will. This is a problem that needs to be solved with fines and tow trucks.

I would recommend taking creatine every day and favoring your training splits towards the lower body. Do lower body 3-4 days per week and do upper body 1-2 days per week.

I'd recommend targeting certain parts of your body through your training, not through your diet. Also, you'll never accidentally build muscle. It just doesn't work like that. Muscle is built with deliberate effort. If you don't make that deliberate effort, then you won't build muscle.

I'm not an expert. But I use creatine, and I like it. If you're pretty active, then generally speaking, creatine will help your performance and recovery.

I agree. There's a big difference between riding a bicycle for transportation and the activity of cycling. We need to work on closing this gap, or at least find a way for both sides to act as advocates of the other.
