weird how despite continuing to email her office, my mp doesnt seem to even bother w any response whatsoever now that labour are the ones in power. this was the last time her office even responded to me (despite like, quite a lot of different topics inc. abuse of nd kids at a local school)

the government has been trying to rush their bill to remove the rights of refugees to seek asylum in the uk if they come through an irregular route through parliament, giving mps just two days this week for the committee stage of the bill and holding this on in the parliamentary chamber which limits the opportunities to challenge the minister. I attended both debates and tabled and spoken to a number of amendments to this legislation to try to address this but as you may see from the links below to the debates, the response from the government was to ignore any concerns raised by opposition mps.'

3. a financially burdensome & under-resourced criminal legal system puts ppl with low incomes, who are disproportionately ppl of colour, at a disadvantage
