More photos! The final size for this guy is over 100cm!! I need to get better measurements, but he's around 120cm long with the tail increase.

Here's the latest prototype!! Featuring the new hind legs, pawpads, longer tail and sleeker front paws! I also got photos of the zip this time to show just how well it blends in.
I'm finally happy with this guy and going to start setting up for preorders, so more detailed info coming soon(ish)!

Would this character be OK or are they too humanoid?
I'm gonna make a paper pattern to alter the back legs, make a calico pattern for the manu to reference for the back legs so theyre more shaped and with an ankle and curve. The straight back legs don't look as alive to me and that's the last thing I want to fix! So much happier with it though :D

These photos are poor because the lighting in my house is so yellow. The next prototype came in and I'm still not super happy with it, so done modifications myself. The front legs are swapped, paws added, hips thinned. The second and third photos show the thinned paw and hip compared to the old one.

The new prototype is in, I'm... Still not sold on it, there's some things that bug me about it so going to leave it a few days and come back to it. What I do love though is the new paws, the pads are sooo much more visible! The new nose is perfect too and the ears are a bit more rounded 👌

Thanks so much to everyone that stopped by the market today!! It was super busy but I had so much fun catching up with everyone, making new friends and letting you guys get a first proper look at the thylacine 💙💙

Thylacine update from the manufacturer!
Changed the underside of the paws to minky so the pads stand out way more, the ears are a little more rounded and the back legs and tail are longer now. I'm waiting on a video of the face so I can get a better feel for it, but I'm soooo happy with those paws!!

Native critters are my jam, but any kind of animal tbh! I work best with natural colours and designs, rather than Big Colour Designs because I feel like my colour theory is weak haha.

So with that in mind if you're absolutely set on getting one of these guys let me know so I have an idea in mind for quantity so I can get a unit cost from the rep.
The plan is to get them sent to me without stuffing, stuffing them myself and then posting out - or sent as a skin to save on postage.

Final two!! One of these is an a5 piece for a secret santa, the other was a little gift to a manager that's helped out a ton with a pretty grim job we've had over the years.
On the left is a superb fairy Wren, and on the right is a far eastern curlew, which was probably the hardest one to paint!
