Let’s pretend we could create super powerful, super ethical AI. Could it actually solve our problems? If we can “get AI right” could we really create a better world? The short answer is no, and I want to start debunking these myths.

Many are justifiably skeptical of this, and they provide very good arguments for why we shouldn’t believe AI will ever be that powerful. But I think a lot of people still get sucked into the “yeah, but what if it could” mindset. So I want to look at AI from that perspective.
