Update on this, we had the sender re-send it and I immediately redirected it for collection.
A few days later it's delivered to our address.

Ok now I'm convinced delivery drivers just don't even try. Had three "failed deliveries" in a row from Evri, even after leaving a note on the delivery saying "RING THE DOORBELL" and yet they didn't manage to do it. We had a maintenance person visit earlier today who successfully found the doorbell.

Oh so I ended up buying one. Very good so far. I've been playing some John Dowland on it (a lot of his music used a 7th string), and also some Mertz who wrote for 8 string guitar. I'm mostly using the tuning EBGDAEDA or EBGDAEDB, but want to buy a thicker-guage string soon to try EBGDAEAE
Strongly considering going into the world of extended-range #ClassicalGuitar. I think for now I will try converting my backup guitar to a baritone guitar, but It's really tempting to jump straight to an 8-string...

I have my work microsoft account set up to call me on teams for MFA, and hilariously when the incoming call comes up it says "unknown caller" and then an AI voice says "this is microsoft". You would think they would at least be able to provide caller ID... let alone a verified source tick

Some academic journals are now using AI to check whether manuscripts meet their submission requirements before going to review.
Except, the context length of the AI is too short to read the whole paper, so they keep incorrectly stating I have no conflict of interest declaration (it's on page 38)

Got a parking fine because my car was slightly blocking a driveway. I'm not saying I didn't deserve it, but it is annoying that I checked every day for 5 days for a chance to move it and the car behind mine never moved, and there was never a different space to use.

My train was cancelled 2 stops before my destination yesterday, due to damage to overhead lines near Birmingham and the resulting backup of trains.
Today, my sister's train was cancelled half way through her journey and all other trains are delayed.
