"Radical transparency: 6 total (2 D, 4 R)"

You have this listed under things that Democrats say more... Is that a mistake or are the numbers here accidentally inverted?

Haven't seen an official crowd size yet, but Richmond, VA isn't on that map and early, unofficial guesstimates I've seen are around 10,000. Even if that ends up being high, it was the most attended protest I've been to here and it's not even close.

Please, elaborate for us... Sincerely.

This was my first reaction when I heard this, and I think it's exactly how it'd play out.

We're old. This isn't how everyone uses the platforms. Plus people are not very bright. The coat drive posts are just a Trojan horse so that AI accounts can eventually hawk products like influencers do. People say they hate ads, so they need to make people think they're not being advertised to.

Investors? Gotta have something to convince them their money is at work, especially when gen-text-AI seems to have stalled out. So how do you make money with products nobody wants? Remember when Apple auto-installed a U2 album on everyone's iPod... maybe it'll be like that but with AI influencers

This. To remove gender from any talk of political ideology seems negligent.

Completely unrelated (/s), anybody know how to easily save all your photos off FB onto you desktop/device w/o having to do so one at a time?

Thanks, will see whether I think they can handle the APSR article; if not, I'll summarize for them.

The Codebook 2.0 isn't hyperlinked for any of the measures. I'd like to incorporate this into my undergrad course, but want them to have a solid understanding of where the Electoral Democracy Score comes from -- indicators & scoring. Any help?

You're being really literal with the term "write" when I think it's clear that it's being used as a stand-in for any method of putting your own thoughts onto paper (though not always literal paper). Assistive tools like keyboards or speech-to-text aren't the target of ire here. Generative AI is.

Damn, I thought maybe you had conflated her with the SC player who was charged with assault last year (and who was also playing in the game) but, nope, we've got multiple ladies on the court with alleged domestic violence issues... Not exactly the kind of equality I want to see in sports 🎉🙄😩

This is probably right. Sigh... A handful of Republicans impeached Trump on their way out; it makes Clyburn rolling over even more impalatable.

Published this very morning, actually: www.tandfonline.com/eprint/7X3B6.... We took students to NH for the primaries; compared students against classroom control groups; had some hypothesized effects (political participation, external efficacy, trust in politicians, ambition) but not others.
Experiential Learning in the “First in the Nation” Primary State: Efficacy and Impact of a Political Science Educational Experience
In January 2016 and 2020, political science faculty and students traveled to New Hampshire for the run-up to the state’s “first in the nation” presidential primaries. For ten days, students met wit...

The chart is about the amount of paid work in the labor force that's required to monetarily afford Thanksgiving dinner; it's not a chart about how much time is spent prepping, cooking, cleaning.

they think there is a "right" answer to these sorts of questions. The latter isn't great bc that's how group think evolves, and how chilling effects thrive, but I think the author's suggestion that these are genuine attitudes is leaping to a conclusion that isn't warranted. /4
