It's not necessarily less efficient. The electricity comes from somewhere. Also, gas is more reliable on longer trips.
But in many ways you are correct.

I don't know anything about it, but yes. I feel like military physicians & nurses have to be even better than civilian because of politics & the stigma.

Think it's just as bad to tie that to Pete Hegseth & calling it "the culture".

People go into those fields to help the sick & deliver babies. If you have one Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy character that isn't the culture of the entire medical community. Also, military physicians are no different than civilian. Same training & same profession. But get deployed to wars.
