I happened to walk along Wall Street about a week ago and saw them hoisting the materials inside for the renovated lobby and POPS by KPF.

Just saw it described as "The much-anticipated final volume in architect Robert A.M. Stern’s critically acclaimed New York series" on the Phaidon website. You had me second-guessing myself for a minute, @christinecipriani.bsky.social : )

Actually I'm not 100% that it's *the* last, but I think it's safe to assume its *his* last. He actually told Archpaper back in 2017, "I’m also working with Jake Tilove and David Fishman on my New York 2020 book, which I swore I would never do, but here I am." That makes 2020 something of a bonus.

Funny, because I always think of it as a New York City album, a spot-on snapshot of the city pre-Bloomberg. Not sure I ever paid attention to where she recorded it...

And the north elevation showing the second floor addition to the gallery connecting the East Wing to the White House ... yikes! Does it really need that many tightly spaced windows?! Existing first floor gallery has 9 windows, but rendering shows 18. Bad ethics AND bad architecture.
