I need to get some stuff about Star Wars off my chest. I'm currently stuck between hope for the future and giving up and I have been for 7-8 years. Since Disney bought Lucasfilm, it's been a mixed bag IMO I'm not an "all Star Wars is good" or "all Disney Star Wars sucks" person...

5 years ago I said that Rogue One was the only new story that positively added to the universe that George created. Andor adds 10 times more to the universe.
The downside is that the stories that have the magic or spiritual elements that gave Star Wars its popularity are so bad in comparison 😔

Living in Red States has been frustrating. Diehard Trump supporters spouting Fox News rhetoric daily was THE WORST.

So I watched The Electric State.
I have to say this movie wasn't oscar worthy movie, but I don't think it's worthy of the 14% RT score from critics.
It's a perfectly serviceable action/adventure movie to watch with family and/or friends.
7/10.

I’m pleasantly surprised by Disney’s #skeletoncrew. It’s not really “The Goonies in space”, but something else. Certainly a swashbuckling space pirate adventure for kids, but also a new side to the Star Wars galaxy that adult fans haven’t really seen before. It kinda works. 🏴☠️
