IIRC the actual condition for your first special stage is that you get a whopping 370 GP points [same as S-Rank] but after you do, its lowered to 350

The Hard car has better speed [can 340+km/h on slipst.] but instead needs spot on drift timing and handling to not lose much speed or spin/crash out [bit easier than Scud Race tho]
VERY satisfying to drift with it succesfully though, and you can see it outran the last two cars at the end with speed

The Easy car has good grip [Normal car is better at the final turn that as it can start and end drifts well even in AT, while Easy NEEDS to grip], but it SUFFERS with low top speed unless you slipstream
Gotta trail every car you see to get enough speed to catch first and take the final turn cleanly
